As the largest health care provider in Arizona and one of the largest health systems in the western U.S., Banner Health has cared for more than half of Arizona’s COVID-19 patients since the start of the pandemic. In addition to testing thousands of Arizonans at our health centers and urgent care clinics, Banner has operated a robust drive-through testing site at the Arizona State Fairgrounds since last summer, which also began administering vaccines in December. This unprecedented season in health care continues to put significant new demands on our health care system and our valued workforce. Here’s how you can help:

Enhancing Clinician Well-Being and Resiliency

The COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated the gorwing problem of burnout in medicine and has had a significant impact on the well-being of frontline health care workers. As we begin to emerge from this extraordinarily challenging time, we must address the emotional, physical and mental health needs of our thousands of care providers who have experienced untold levels of stress and trauma over the past year.
